COVID-19 SANITIZATION PROGRAM
Ontario Insulation works closely with the Environmental Abatement Council of Ontario (EACO). As hazardous material workers, we have been trained in and practice infectious control in the construction, healthcare and institutional industries since 1985.
Current best practices guidelines from EACO - Emerging and Existing Pathogen Cleaning.
The Coronavirus continues to spread. There have been an increasing number of cases reported in the GTA. We understand at a time like this, many businesses have heightened concerns. Coronavirus can potentially last on surfaces for several hours, or even days. Studies have found that it can survive on surfaces for a lengthy period: from up to 24 hours on cardboard and up to 2-3 days on plastic and stainless steel. It also can remain viable in aerosols—attached to particles that stay aloft in the air—for up to three hours.
Our COVID-19 Sanitization Program focuses on cleaning and disinfecting all risk areas:
- Level 1 – Precautionary Cleaning
- Level 2 – Potential Contamination
- Level 3 – Confirmed Contamination
Without a vaccine for Coronavirus, the best thing we can do to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 is to maintain a clean and germ-free environment through disinfecting measures. Ontario Insulation utilizes special grade disinfectant to quickly eliminate 99.9% of bacteria and viruses on every exposed surface in your building, including Coronavirus (COVID-19), salmonella and E. coli, common viruses like the cold and flu, and disinfectant-resistant pathogens like MRSA and mould. Ontario Insulation’s COVID-19 Sanitization Program has no adverse effects to the environment, your staff or visitors. Ontario Insulation’s COVID-19 Sanitization Program has been used in local facilities all over the GTA, including childcare facilities, medical facilities, and schools.
